About Us
Nuha is a research lab based in New York City. We teach companions how to understand, interact with, and respond to humans and the physical world.
Your Role
You'll own the design and user experience across our website and companion setup app. You'll create beautiful, intuitive interfaces that make our brand feel premium and our product feel effortless to use. You'll work closely with our design and engineering teams to turn ideas into polished experiences.
What You'll Work On
Product Design & Development
- Design and build features for our website and app
- Maintain and evolve our design system to ensure consistency across all touchpoints
- Create high-fidelity prototypes and production-ready designs
- Implement designs in code - you ship what you design
Design System & Brand
- Build and maintain our design system - components, patterns, and guidelines
- Ensure unified design language across website, app, and physical product
- Create visual assets, illustrations, and interactive elements
- Define and evolve our brand aesthetic as we grow
Collaboration & Iteration
- Work with other designers to maintain design cohesion across all products
- Balance aesthetic vision with technical constraints and user needs
Requirements
- Strong visual design skills - You create beautiful, polished interfaces
- Design engineering experience - You can implement your designs in code (React Native, TypeScript, etc)
- Communication skills - You articulate design decisions clearly and collaborate effectively
- Systems thinking - You think in components, patterns, and reusable systems
- User-centered mindset - You design for real people and real use cases
Bonus
- Experience building design systems
- Experience designing for physical products or hardware
Team
You'll work with a team of designers who design and work on the physical product.

NYC - In office. We're building a physical product and need to work together in person.
